Abraham Hicks 30 Day Challenge

A few days ago I was thinking how good it would be to have some sort of challenge with a time limit where I could really commit myself to changing my thoughts and start to manifest what I really want in my life. Once and for all!

And the next day (or the same day even, I can't quite remember) I found a video on YouTube where Abraham was describing this 30 day challenge. It was exactly what I was looking for.

Challenge accepted. I am going to do this 30 day challenge starting from today and I will write a few posts along the way to update you on how it's going.


The Challenge

There are a few specific things to do that Abraham mentions but the main idea is to ignore your reality and focus all your attention on your Vortex reality and feeling good.

I'm going to list all of the things that Abraham says to do for these 30 days. I took these from a couple of different videos.


1. Stop watching TV

No TV for 30 days could be really difficult for you, or it could be really easy, depending on how much time you spend watching TV. I have already cut back a lot on TV so it shouldn't be that hard for me. And I haven't watched the news for a few years now.


2. Withdraw from your "reality"

For the next 30 days try to ignore your reality as much as you possibly can. You have to make the decisions as to what you feel able to withdraw from and what you feel that you can't. The fact is that your "reality" is old news. Your now reality is the result of your past thoughts and feelings.


3. Focus on your Vortex reality

Spend as much time as possible focusing on what you know you already have in your vortex reality. I like to think about how I already have everything I want in my vortex reality, it really helps because you're not lying to yourself since it really is in your vortex. So there is not as much resistance.


4. Make lists of positive aspects

Get a notebook and write in it every day. Write as much as you have time for. Write about all the positive things in your life. Write down everything that is good in your life.


5. Meditate

Meditation is a great way to release resistance. Meditate every day, I recommend getting the Abraham Hicks Getting into the Vortex Meditation CD. I have it and it's the best meditation CD that I have ever tried. The meditations are only 15 minutes so you can always squeeze in one meditation no matter how busy you are.


6. Feel appreciation

Focus on the things you already have, the things that you have already manifested, that you appreciate. Go on appreciation rampages and you can write these down in your notebook too. Appreciation is the path of least resistance to everything that you want.


7. When inspired, act

On about day 3 or 4 you will start to feel inspired to act in new ways. Follow through with the inspiration, if you can, as soon as you feel the inspiration. This will be source calling you towards the things that you have been wanting.


8. Write down things as they show up

After the first few days you will start to see manifestations show up and as you notice them write them down in your notebook. Feel appreciation for every little thing because they are indicators that what you are doing is working. Appreciation for the things that show up will create more of the same. These manifestations can be big or small. It could be a thought or a feeling or an idea.


9. Let your dominant intent be the attracting of what you want

Every day, make it a priority to focus on the attracting of what you want. Make it important to you to always be attracting what you want. Make it matter to you how you feel.


10. Look at the things that you want

Go to shops and look at the clothes that you want. Go look at the cars that you want to drive. Go look at all the beautiful things that you want to attract. Appreciate them and the people who created them.


11. Watch the people who are how you want to be

Watch rich people if you want to be rich. Watch the people who are famous if you want to be famous. Watch people who have what you want. Watch people who are doing what you want to be doing. Watch people who have the personality traits that you want to have. etc.


I'm sure there are more things that you can do. The most important thing to remember is that you are doing all of these things to feel good. So just always keep it in mind that your goal is to feel as good as possible. That makes it a lot simpler.


Why Do This?

Well, there could be many reasons why you would want to do this challenge. Maybe you have been doing this whole law of attraction thing for years and you just want to make it work for you once and for all (like me).

My main reason though is something that Abraham said in one of the videos I watched when I was researching this challenge. They said 30 days of feeling wonderful is all we need to manifest all the biggest dreams we've ever had. That really got me thinking. Wow, I could have everything I want in just 30 days if I just commit myself to feeling good. I think it's definitely worth the try.

How well this works out for me (or you or anyone) will of course depend on how much I let myself feel good. How important I make it to do things that make me feel good.

I am going to make it my main priority for the next 30 days to care about how I feel. That's something that anyone can do. Even if you feel like it might not work because it never has worked for you before. But you have never tried this before. And you have probably never understood what needs to be done better than you do now. Just feel good. Just make it a priority to feel good.
